Tonight is my last night (online anyway) in Ithaca. I’ll be moving Saturday morning but won’t have access after tonight. I’ll probably post a few more shots once I’m moved, because I haven’t posted all the ones I’ve wanted to in the last few days/weeks. It’s been a difficult, emotional, and photo-inspiring year of growth for me. Thank you all for your comments and suggestions and just for looking

this was the sunrise yesterday morning, view from my bedroom. i have news my friends. i will be leaving ithaca this saturday, so there will not be too many more photos to add…but i’ll leave the blog up of course, for posterity. i’m pretty sure i’ll be starting a new one where i am moving to, since i don’t believe anyone’s doing one yet

at cornell plantations. they were hissing at us as we walked by. it was kind of funny, though i was a little worried they might peck us.

this girl and her friend were climbing via the creek and falls, and were taking photos of each other. i was trying to avoid taking their photos, but she saw me taking photos of the falls and walked right into my photo. so there. i figured then she wanted me to take the photo. so i did. it looks so refreshing, doesn’t it? it was in the 90s so i am sure it was (I wanted to tell those young women to make sure and SAVE the photos they were taking of each other, because they won’t look like this forever. and we all love our 20’s skinny photos!)

last night before the storms began. but they were nothing, really. i was hoping for more torrential rains. being at the edge of a valley, however, means some cool light shows over the hills.
